STREET STOCK AND HOBBY RULES
(PURE STREET BELOW)
WEIGHTS LIMITS:
The weight Limit for a Hobby or Street Stock Car is 3400 lbs. Weighted after race with driver.
The Weight Limit for a Pure Street car competing in this division is 3000 lbs. Weighted after race with driver.
WEIGHTS: Any attached weights must be securely bolted to frame, and must be painted white or florescent orange and have car number clearly painted on them. Due to the high risk factor involved, any car that loses a lead weight during any event will be disqualified for that race and may be banned from the track for the season and/or fined. Two attaching mounts are recommended. No weights may be attached to rear bumper. No lead pellets – no liquid weights.
BODY
1. American made cars only.
2. No compacts, convertibles, or independent rear suspension cars allowed.
3. Cars must have factory stock full body. Aftermarket nose pieces allowed. All cars must have stock front and rear bumpers, floorboard, and both firewalls. Pedals must remain in stock position. Stock rocker panels must remain in tack on both sides. Roof line must remain at stock height.
4. Hulling of cars allowed, must meet weight limit.
5. All glass, chrome, and flammable material must be removed.
6. Doors must be welded or bolted shut.
SPOILERS:
1. No spoilers over 8 inches high, no side panels over 12 inches in length.
ROLL CAGE AND CHASSIS:
1. Frame and suspension parts must remain stock for make and model of car. No truck or homemade frames. Frames cannot be lengthened or shortened. Wheelbase must be stock for make and model of car.
2. Quick steering allowed.
3. Adjustable spacer in front spring cup only. No external adjustment.
4. Springs must be stock type, minimum
5 inches in diameter. 5. Shocks must be stock type. No truck or heavy duty shocks, no more than one per wheel, must be in stock position. No coilovers.
6. Cars must have a minimum of 4 point roll cage. Tubing diameter 1 1/2 inches minimum.
7. Must have a minimum of three door bars on the left side, four recommended. Must have a minimum of two door bars on right side.
8. Lowering blocks will be allowed on leaf springs. Coil spring cars may install spring bucket on rear, must remain in stock location. (No jackbolts.)
9. Racing type seats required and must be securely fastened.
10. Seat setback shall be no more than stock position.
11. Quick release safety belt with shoulder harness is required.
TIRES AND WHEELS
1. Any steel or aluminum wheel with 14” maximum width allowed.
2. Any tire must durometer 40 at any time.
3. No tire softening chemicals allowed.
4. Wide five hubs allowed.
ENGINE: All parts must mintain casting numbers.
Engine must be stock for make of car. Maximum of 388 cubic inches.
2. Engine setback may be no more than No. 1 plug inline with balljoint.
3. Block and heads must be stock. Stock replacement heads allowed. Stock OEM heads or GM Vortec heads allowed. Steel heads only. No porting, polishing, grinding, or deburring in any breathing area on heads. No shot peening or acid porting of heads allowed. No aftermarket racing heads or blocks allowed. Pistons may be cast or forged. No domed pistons allowed. Steel dart heads angle or straight plugs allowed.
4. Any crank
5. Any cam.
6. Roller rockers and stud girdles allowed.
7. Any 2 or 4 barrel intake allowed. 8. Any 2 barrel or 4 barrel carburetor.
9. No fuel injection allowed.
10. Exhaust headers allowed, NO 180 degree headers.
11. Can run MSD boxes and distributors with or without external coil.
ENGINE OPTION A:
GM part number P/N 88958604:
1:Must weigh a minimum of 2800 lbs anytime.
1. These engines are sealed at the intake manifold, cylinder head, front cover, and oil pan with special twist off bolts. Crate engines must not be altered, modified, of changed in any way from factory specification.
2. The sealed engines must remain intact and not be tampered with. Any seals that have been remover or tampered with will make the engine illegal and ineligible for competition. Track reserves right to confiscate engine for technical inspection. The penalty for tampering with seals, modifying any internal engine parts, changing parts from stock as delivered and sealed from the factory will be subject to expulsion from racing in the class permanently.
3. No changes are allowed to the engines. Including Intake manifold, heads, valve covers, front cover, oil pan, harmonic balancer, or any other part(s) on or in the engines.
FUEL AND FUEL SYSTEM
1. Fuel system must remain completely stock.
2. Fuel cell is required.
3. Fuel cells may be relocated for safety. Cars must have a firewall between driver and fuel cell.
4. Fuel will be gasoline only.
5. Fuel lines routed through the driver’s compartment must be encased in steel pipe.
TRANSMISSION AND DRIVE TRAIN
1. Transmission must be stock manual or automatic. Must have working reverse gear.
2. Small diameter clutches allowed.
3. Direct drive automatic with spool allowed. Car must be able to start and stop with engine running.
4. All cars must have a working starter.
5. Rearends must be stock type. No truck or quick change rearends allowed. Nine inch Ford rearends allowed. Floaters allowed.
6. Rearends may be locked by welding spider gears.
7. Must have shatter-proof shield between firewall and transmission.
PURE STREET RULES
Pure Street weight limit will be a minimum of 3000 lbs. after race with drive.

1. ANY 1948 OR NEWER SEDAN OR COUPE, MINIMUM CUTTING FOR TIRES AND AIR FILTER Rear Wheel drive.
2. STOCK WHEEL BASE
3. MUST HAVE WRECKER LOOPS ON FRONT AND REAR OF CAR.
4. . ALL DOORS MUST BE WELDED OR BOLTED SHUT
5. ALL GLASS MUST BE REMOVED
6. RACING SEAT WITH APPROVED SHOULDER HARNESS REQUIRED...
7. FOUR (4) POST ROLL CAGE WELDED TO THE FRAME WITH 3 OR MORE BARS IN THE DRIVER DOOR.
ALL BARS MUST BE 2" OR LARGER.
8. CAR MUST BE STRICTLY STOCK APPEARING. MINIMUM CUTTING ALLOWED FOR TIRES AND AIR FILTER
9. PLASTIC GROUND EFFECTS ARE PERMITTED
10. PEDALS MUST BE IN STOCK LOCATION
11. BATTERY MUST BE RELOCATED AND STRAPPED SECURELY IN BATTERY BOX IN COCKPIT
ENGINE: 362 CU. INCH, 3000 lbs.
1. ANY FLAT TOP OR DISH PISTONS ALLOWED NOT TO EXCEED DECK HEIGHT.
2. STOCK RODS, CRANK, HEADS, ROCKER ARMS, CARB, IGNITION, AND BLOCK FROM THE MANUFACTURER.
3. VORTEC HEADS ALLOWED
4. NO PORTING AND POLISHING AT ALL
5. STOCK FLYWHEEL 10.5 inch Minimum, PRESSURE PLATE, AND CLUTCH OR TORQUE CONVERTER
6. ANY HYDRALIC CAM
7 .005 FEELER GAUGE WILL BE USED TO CHECK FOR SOLID LIFT CAMS
8. ANY ALUMINUM INTAKE ALLOWED.
9. BIGGER VALVES AND SPRINGS MAY BE INSTALLED
10. NO SOLID LIFT OR ROLLER CAMS OR LIFTERS, Roller Rocker arms are allowed.
11. STOCK FUEL PUMP IN STOCK LOCATION ONLY
12. SCREW IN STUDS AND GUIDE PLATES ARE ALLOWED
13. CARBURETOR: 2 Barrell 500 Holley or Rochester stock only
14. NO ALUMINUM HEADS OR BOWTIE BLOCKS ALLOWED
15. CAN HAVE AFTER MARKET PULLEYS
16. ENGINE MUST BE IN STOCK LOCATION
